THANK YOU, COACH ANDREAS!

Check out this video/slideshow put together by Peter & Jennie Tran (Taylor, Tyler & Sophie's parents).  So cool. (Thanks, Tran family, for putting it together.)

MORGAN HILL SWIM MEET • September 4-5, 2010

Regardless of differences, we strive shoulder to shoulder... teamwork can be summed up in five short words:  "We believe in each other."  ~Author Unknown

Rossi Swim Team didn't come first place this year. They came in third.  But that didn't dampen their spirit.  In more ways than one, they came in first.  They are champions.  In unity, in camaraderie, in hard work, in sportmanship.  This weekend, they truly showed their quality.

Here are just some post-swim meet photos.  And as promised, here are more photos at Picasa - Morgan Hill 2010.
(This photo taken by Pamela Rebitz, Samantha's mom.  Thanks, Pam)

Mr. Woo with the dedicated and proud Rossi parents...

This weekend was also the Coach Andreas' last meet.  The team honored him by throwing him into the pool. It's their way of wishing him well as he "plunges" into a new endeavor.
{You shall be greatly missed, Andreas. Your contribution to the team will be taking off to the next level.  Please stay in close touch.}
Our team was the last one to leave the premises. They can't seem to get enough of each other.

Just this Past Weekend...

"I'm DEAD! I'm DEAD!" ~Diego thought he missed his event. AGAIN!

"I'm alive! I'm ALIVE!" ~he muttered to himself when he found out he didn't miss it after all.

Teaching him to be independent is a good thing.  Nerve-wrecking, but a good thing.  Thank you, coaches, parents, swim mates for a great meet.  I hope to post more pix from this past weekend's meet before the week is over. Sorry if I haven't been faithful in doing so.  Summer & the beginning of school have taken me for a wild ride.  I'm sure most, if not all, of you can somewhat relate.  Tell me you can.

If you have any photos you'd like to share, you can either put them on Flickr or Picasa, then send me the link, and I'll direct them accordingly.

"To be successful, you don't have to do extraordinary things. Just do ordinary things extraordinarily well." ~Unknown

Do things extraordinarily well on this Labor Day.
