Morgan Hill Meet • Part 1 | Aug 31-Sept 2, 2012

Nothing worthwhile ever happens quickly and easily. You achieve only as you are determined to achieve...and as you keep at it until you have achieved. -Robert H. Lauer

With very busy swimmers loaded with back to school work, and new & very young swimmers, our team managed to come in 3rd place! Each of you contributed to making our team placed! Your determination and hard work paid off. CONGRATULATIONS and keep it up!

See message from Mr. Ed Woo:

What a great meet we had this weekend! The RAYS came in 3rd place overall considering there were over 900 swimmers at this meet from over 40 different teams. Great JOB! See link for the meet results HERE.

Thanks to all the parents for helping out at the meet and thanks to our coaching staff for getting our swimmers ready for this meet. Many of our swimmers got their personal best times and also broke a few of our team records. A special thanks to Jared Vu for helping us sent up the relay teams with me and Mike. Thanks to Cynthia Tran for working as our team manager at the meet.

And thank YOU, Mr. Ed Woo and Ms. Tina Vu, for managing such a fine group of swim families...making everyone feel at home at all times. Thank you to all the fine photographers we had this past weekend. We hope to post photos as soon as we're able to. For the meantime, here's a teaser.

Congratulations to our seniors who joined us at this meet. Wishing you all the best in your college years. And Happy Birthday to Margaret, Jordan, Emily M and Sydney.

Lastly, thank you so much for making Sydney's last meet a special & memorable one. She has some of the best times of her life growing up as a Manta Ray. So much memories (in 9 years)! We'll share some of those later. In the meantime, know that Rossi is family to her, and she will root for you ALL the time, and will ALWAYS be a Manta RAE.

Enjoy this LABOR day-off with your loved ones.
